About JPG to PDF

Photos, screenshots, and scanned pages often need to be a PDF before anyone will accept them — application portals, expense systems, and print shops frequently reject raw image files. FixMyPDF's JPG to PDF converter wraps a JPEG image in a properly sized PDF page in a couple of seconds.

The tool converts one JPEG image at a time. Drag a .jpg or .jpeg file onto the page (or click to browse), choose Portrait or Landscape, and pick how much white margin you want around the image — anywhere from none to 100 points. If you need several photos in a single document, convert each one and then combine the results with our merge tool.

The PDF is assembled by jsPDF inside your browser. Your photo is never uploaded to us, which is worth knowing when the image is a passport scan, a bank statement, or a signed form. The output carries no watermark and the tool is free with no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine several images into one PDF?

Not in this tool — it converts a single JPEG per run. To build a multi-page document, convert each image and then combine the PDFs with our merge tool.

Does it accept PNG or HEIC images?

No. This converter accepts JPEG files only (.jpg and .jpeg). If you have an iPhone HEIC photo or a PNG, convert it to JPEG first, then use this tool.

Will the image quality be reduced?

The image is embedded as JPEG at the resolution you supply, so there is no additional downscaling. A very large photo produces a correspondingly large PDF.

Are my images stored on your servers?

No. They are never sent to our servers at all — the PDF is assembled locally in your browser and saved directly to your device.

How large an image can I convert?

There is no limit that we enforce. Because the work happens on your own device, the ceiling is your browser's available memory.
